Catalonia History Museum

The Catalonia History Museum explores the rich history of the Autonomous Region of Catalonia from the Roman Empire to the present.  It is located in the Palau de Mar (Ocean Palace) at the Old Port.

The stated purpose of the museum is "to conserve, exhibit and raise awareness of the history of Catalonia as our joint heritage and to strengthen citizens' sense of identification with the nation's history".

After viewing the exhibits, visitors to the Catalonia History Museum can enjoy a meal or snack on the rooftop terrace.  The view from the terrace is amazing.
