The National Art Museum of Catalonia is home to magnificent works of Catalan and other art. It is located in the National Palace (Palau Nacional) which was built for the 1929 World Expo.
The Catalan Art Museum contains from the 10th to the 20th century. Among its treasures are some wonderful Romanesque frescoes.
