Pablo Picasso, who was born in Malaga Spain, lived in Barcelona from the age of 14 until 23. It was here that he developed expertise in a style of painting called realism.
The Picasso Museum is located in a series of 15th century palaces in the El Born area of Barcelona's "Old Town".
The cost of admission to the museum is 13 euro. Due to its popularity, it is advisable to purchase tickets in advance or expect a long wait.
