Aerial Cable Car

The Port Vell Aerial Cable Car in Barcelona provides a scenic tour of the city and port from Port Vell to the top of Montjuic.

The cable car ride (Aeri del Port), is quite expensive but does provide a pleasant view of the Port of Barcelona and city.

There are two alternatives for travelling from Port Vell up Montjuic Hill:  Visitors can either travel by bus or take a metro train to the Paral-let station and transfer to the Montjuic Funicular Railway.

The funicular is integrated with the Barcelona Metro system and does not require an additional ticket.
